It doesn’t mean that we’re cheap. We’re just ruthless about spending money in smart ways. We have three company rules that made us both profitable, and efficient:
- Positioning. We do only what we say we’ll do: creative. We do not take on projects that we don’t have proven infrastructure in place to support. This led us to determining we needed the best in-class partners. By preserving our resources to be excellent at what we do, we’ve grown our clients and relationships based on quality.
- Collaborative Partners. We created a meaningful way to partner with other high quality subject matter experts so that we can still provide our clients the same range as agencies 150 times our size, BUT at a higher standard and on a more focused, ninja-like performance level.
- We created 3 rules to live by: (1) Love what you do. (2) Love who you work with. (3) Prosperity breeds prosperity.
These 3 rules of engagement are daily tools in identifying opportunities for process improvements, employees that aren’t a good fit, vendors who are under performing or clients that are distracting to their own mission. These three rules are our true north. We use them as a filter every day, to help defend our “Creative that rocks. No costly politics” positioning.
