All smart business owners realize it’s just as important to retain current customers as it is to bring in new ones. How often have you ever received a “thank you” from a vendor you do business with?
Well, I asked myself that question and came up with “Zilch!”
That’s when I decided to roll out what I call “The Thank You Initiative.” Each week one employee sends out a thank you to a client of their choice. They send one or multiple cups filled with yummy candy, pens, our nifty custom calendar, along with a handwritten thank you card. It’s fun and rewarding for my staff, and our customers love getting a gift. And, we have a 100% customer retention rate since we implement the program. A wonderful by-product!
