Monthly Round Table Meetings
Every month managers from each department meet off-site to discuss current projects, areas for improvement, short-term goals and long-term goals for their departments. This includes members from our marketing, sales, customer service, operations, accounting and senior management teams.
As simple as this might sound, it’s actually an extremely effective tool to drive incremental improvement. Each manager leaves the meeting with some constructive criticisms, short-term goals for increased efficiency (to be accomplished prior to our next monthly meeting) and great ideas from other members of management. This monthly exercise results in a great deal of ownership and individual desire to improve processes that help grow our company. Most all of our greatest changes and innovations have stemmed from these monthly meetings.
